The ZOLL Pedi-padz® II Paediatric Multi-Function Electrodes (Part Number 8900-0810-01) are specially designed for use on infants and children under 8 years of age or under 25kg. These genuine ZOLL paediatric defibrillation pads are compatible with ZOLL AED Plus® and AED Pro® devices.
Unlike standard adult AED pads, Pedi-padz® II electrodes feature intelligent paediatric sensing technology. When connected, the AED automatically recognises the pads and adjusts the energy level and ECG analysis algorithm for safe paediatric defibrillation. This reduces the risk of delivering inappropriate shock levels to young patients.
The pads are clearly illustrated for quick and accurate placement during high-stress rescue situations and come individually sealed with a 2-year shelf life, making them suitable for schools, daycare centres, medical clinics, sports clubs, emergency response kits and community defibrillator programs.
